George Hilton made a name for himself in Italian cinema as a rugged cowboy in a series of spaghetti westerns but also played his share of cops, spies and psychos! He was also the first actor to battle wits as a Police Inspector against our favorite Diabolikal Super-Kriminal in the first issue of KILLING, SATANIK and SADISTIK as The intrepid Inspector Grant!

He was born as Jorge Hill Acosta y Lara in Montevideo, Uruguay in 1934 and started appearing in Argentinean films as Jorge Hilton by his early 20s. Within a few years he relocate to Italy and starred in 1964's L'Uomo mascherato contro i pirati (The Masked Man Against the Pirates). His suave looks got him the role of Agent 007 in Two Mafiosi Against Goldfinger (Due mafiosi contro Goldginger) with the comedy team of Franco & Ciccio.



Then as the western genre took hold in Italian cinema, Hilton was cast as mythic characters like Django and Sartana. He worked alongside such co-stars as Ernest Borgnine, Gilbert Roland, Van Heflin, Carroll Baker, Klaus Kinski and Rico Boido and for director Lucio Fulci.

As the giallo splatter-films came into popularity, Hilton went along and starred as sleuth or psycho in a string of classics.
